Outer Banks painter Rick Tupper finds inspiration for his work in nature and the spectrum of human emotions. He refers to his work as visual poems.

Rick Tupper was born in Seoul, Korea in 1946. He became a citizen and resident of the US in 1958 and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration in 1970. He has been a resident of the Outer Banks of NC since the mid 1970's. 

His paintings are included in several public and private collections, and he has been featured in a variety of publications throughout his career.

From the late 1970's thru 2015 Rick exhibited his work regularly along the East Coast and, as a partner, at Greenleaf Gallery in Duck, NC.
